Leere Straße - Empty Street

Eben ist mir spontan der Titel "Leere Straße" eingefallen. Wichtig ist mir, dass es eben nicht nur darum geht einen bestimmten Ort festzuhalten, wie das zum Beispiel der Maler Richard Estes macht. Deshalb verzichte ich auf alle Buchstaben, die man ja oft an Gebäuden findet. So wird der Ursprungsort anonymisiert und es entsteht eine Bestimmte Stimmung, die die eigentlich Spannung des Bildes ausmacht.

Final version. Just got the idea to name it "Empty Street". Important to me is not to paint a certain place, as for example Richard Estes does in this paintings. Therefore I'm painting without any letters that are often found on buildings like corporation names ,street names and so on.
The place of origin gets anonymous and the painting is developing a certain temper. This creates the underlying tension
of the painting.
